We were so kindly sent this amazing marble run, Quadrilla from Hape to review. I have had this on my wish list for ages so to say I was over the moon was an understatement!
This is the Hape Quadrilla Castle Escape Set and it comes with 102 pieces in total, 50 marbles (so you definitely will have plenty to play with) and 50 construction pieces to build the marble run.
Its suitable from ages 4 years plus and I would say this is a resource that will last many years as even the adults and teenagers in our house enjoy playing with it. Providing invaluable family time.
First impressions are that it is made of beautiful quality birch and rubber wood, and is lovely and colourful. Hape toys are also sustainable. It comes in a really nice box which we are using to store it in, when not in use.
Isabella needed a little help the first time she used it but quickly worked out how to create some fantastic structures. One thing I love is that you can use your imagination and to design your own structures so there is no right or wrong. It does come with a booklet showing clear instructions to make two different configurations with are amazing and following instructions is a super skill to develop.
My favourite part is the two clear towers as you can watch the marbles drop through them. Isabellas favourite is the three bells that ring as the marble passes through. These sensory elements really enhance the experience.

This really is a quality item and in my opinion definitely worth spending a bit extra on a wooden marble run that will last so much longer and provide hours of fun. All Hape toys also pass through high standards of safety and quality so you know you are buying something safe for your child.
Quadrilla also has a number of different sets so you can add these to this set to expand the fun. I have not used any of the other sets but I can definitely say this particular set comes with absolutely plenty!
Some of the other sets provide different features like, a skate park and a xylophone which just extend the sensory elements even more.
